Over 130 Athletes are Attending the 28th AIDA World Championship in Bulgaria

Over 130 athletes, including world record holders, are competing in the 28th AIDA World Championship in Burgas, Bulgaria from 18-25 June 2022.
The competition will be held at "Park Arena OZK" pool in the seaside town, where freedivers are competing to see who can swim underwater as long as possible on a single breath.
The event will be live-streamed on the official AIDA YouTube Channel on the following dates:
- 20 June at 9am-2pm GMT+3: Dynamic with BiFins (DYNB)
- 21 June at 9am-2pm GMT+3: Dynamic no Fins (DNF)
- 23 June at 9am-2pm GMT+3: Static (STA)
- 24 June at 9am-2pm GMT+3: Dynamic with Fins (DYN)
The current freediving world records are impressive:
The STA records are held by Stefan Mifsud (France) - 11 minutes and 35 seconds, and Natalia Molchanova (Russia) - 9 minutes and 02 seconds.
In DNF, the records belong to Mateusz Malina (Poland) - 250 meters and Magdalena Solich-Talanda (Poland) - 207 meters.
