RTU Ķīpsalas peldbaseins / RTU Swimming pool, address: Kipsalas street 5, Riga, Latvia

Dynamic apnea takes place in 50-meter pool lanes. The water temperature in the pool is 27ºC. Static takes place in pool lanes with underwater platforms for athlete support. The water temperature is 27ºC.

The event will feature three disciplines: Static apnea (STA) and any two dynamic disciplines of your choice, with the condition that disciplines cannot be repeated.

Saturday (Day 1): Static apnea (STA) and one dynamic discipline of your choice (DNF or DYNb).
Sunday (Day 2): One dynamic discipline of your choice (DYNb or DYN).

A coefficient is applied to each discipline to equalize the dynamic disciplines for competition purposes.

DYN has a coefficient of 1.

100 m DYN = 50 points.

DYNb is 1.2.

100m DYNb = 50 points * 1.2 = 60 points.

and DNF is 1.3.

100 m DNF = 50 points * 1.3 = 65 points.

The regular amount of points (1 point per 0.5 m) will be registered to AIDA rating, we use the coefficient only for competition purposes.

The athlete who has scored the highest total competition points over all three disciplines wins the competition, separated into men’s and women’s competitions.
