Alex presented the status of the Assembly member’s renewal for 2017. The official deadline expired on the 31st of March and we have at present 21 voting members in the Assembly. We invite the remaining 16 countries to proceed with the renewal and inform us (at: secretary@aidainternational.org) so we re-activate their member rights.  You can check the status of your country here:

The Judge Responsible is working to propose a new wave of promotions until the 9th of April including the 2016 points and as soon as this is ready, a new application request for the Roatan Jury will be sent to all judges. Based on the Assembly suggestions, the applications will need to include a short presentation from each judge, so the voting countries can make better informed decisions.

Carla and Alex started working on questions for an eventual judge exam that may be implemented for the validation of the course and renewals after longer inactivity periods. Experienced judges are welcome to join the work group by contacting Carla or the Judge Responsible office.

The IT Officer sent a report with the implementation status of the website project and the identified flows will be covered by our internal IT people in collaboration with the initial provider.

The Medical Officer informed us about the Medical Commission work: Oleg is covering the medical part of the rules and herself with Fred are covering the manuals. Until the 9th of April the final docs with comments will be send to the Board for review.

Jean-Pol mentioned the EC is at the proof reading stage for updating the “Instructor Standards and Guidelines” and that we’re about 4 months away from the finalization of the AIDA4 manual

We are following the preparations of the World Championship and would like to remind our athletes to register for Roatan and finalize their flight arrangements as usually it’s cheaper if tickets are taken well in advance.
