AIDA International has officially ratified the women’s Static Apnea (STA) World Record of 09 minutes and 22 seconds, set by Heike Schwerdtner on May 4, 2025, in Stockholm, Sweden.

All world-record performances undergo mandatory anti-doping control and full post-competition review in line with AIDA and WADA protocols. Records are only confirmed once all procedures, including laboratory verification, are successfully completed.

Both the World Records History and Current Rankings pages on the official AIDA website have been updated to reflect this performance.
