Safety plan:
We will have two EMTs available on the dive site during the competition - Ian Norris (Iannorris2@gmail.com) and Ryan Craig (craigus763@hotmail.com).
The Competition site is only approximately 200 meters offshore - close to the dock of Roatan Diving School in West End, Roatan, taking only minutes to return a diver to the shore.
If needed it is a 5-10 minute boat ride from the competition site to Anthony’s Key to reach the well established and serviced hyperbaric chamber.
There will be a Doctor on standby on the dock, and two active Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) from the USA on the platform/platform boat with oxygen and trauma kits.
An ambulance will also be on stand by for any emergencies a short distance from the dock at Roatan Diving School.
