š¬š§ Turkiye ās first AIDA competition will be held in January 2025 in Tekirdag!
š Rodosto Cup is inspired by Tekirdagās old name āRodostoā and,
Ā will take place during our big January education camp, on January 14, 2025.
š„ Donāt forget that this competition holds world record status!
This is an incredible opportunity as many competitions do not have world record status.
Participants will have the chance to break world records, making this event truly special.
Ā š A judge training course will be held on January 11/12/13,
and all new judges will have the opportunity to gain experience in this competition.
Itās also a great chance to prepare for the big Turkish Championship in April!
š International judges will be with us during the training and competition:
Ā 1ļøā£ Ā Pim Vermeulen: AIDA Judge Instructor, freediving coach, and mentor.
Ā Pim has 16 years of experience and serves as the Technical Officer on the AIDA International Board.
2ļøā£ Ā Aruna Chowk: A member of Japanās national freediving team and an experienced AIDA judge,
Ā having officiated both national and international competitions.
š Competition Schedule:
Ā ā¢ Static Apnea (STA) will begin at 9:00 AM.
Ā ā¢ From 1:00 PM onwards, Dynamic Apnea disciplines (DNF, DYN, DYNB) will take place.
š” Important Announcement:
All judges who participate in the course will receive free AIDA membership for 2025,
and no participation fee will be required if they wish to compete.
