Event medic who is a qualified Paramedic and Register Nurse, with 5 years\` event medic experience.
Additionally, there are 3 pools staff rostered to provide additional support if required.

Safety plan:
Initial medical care will be provided onsite by competition medic and pool staff. Competition medic is a qualified doctor.
If required, an ambulance will be requested, and patient transported to nearest tertiary hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Oxygen Therapy and Defibrillation equipment is available at the pool.
