DIVE CONDITIONS

The dive site is called Gåseklovan and has depths up to 90m.
We will have a max depth of 80m but depending on weather conditions it might change.

Preliminary agenda:

19/9 Official training day
20/9 CNF for SM | for open comp FIM,CNF,CWTB,CWT
21/9 FIM for SM | for open comp FIM,CNF,CWTB,CWT
22/9 CWT for SM | for open comp FIM,CNF,CWTB,CWT

With reservation for changes.

SM is Swedish Nationals for Swedish Athletes.

SM has dedicated disciplines each day.

SM will only have awards ( SM-tecken ) for CNF, FIM, CWT. ( not for CWTb )

OBSERVE!

22/9  is the competition day for SM award  CWT.

Swedish athletes can choose CWTb or CWT and will be automatically competing for the CWT SM-tecken.

IF the athlete chooses CWTb then performance will be judged under CWTb rules (NO dolphin kicks ) and registered on the aida platform as a CWTb dive.

But the award for SM is only for CWT because there will not be a SM-tecken for CWTb.

The dive will be in the run for the Aida West Coast Open CWTb award.

IF several athletes will reach the maximum depth we will not have multiple first places etc.

There will be a ranking based of the result in the other disciplines.

Example:

                     CWT | FIM | CNF

Athlete 1:  80     | 80    |  30

Athlete 2 : 80     | 80    |  25

Athlete 3 : 80     | 80    |

Athlete 4 : 80     |          |

Aida West Coast Open is a open competition for all athletes and countries.

for West Cost Open the athlete can choose any discipline each day.

For the total award in West Coast Open we will count the best result combined from CNF,FIM and ( CWT or CWTb ).

Meaning only one of CWT or CWTb will be counted for the total.

All SM participants are also in the run for the awards in West Coast Open, but with the disadvantage that they may not chose  discipline each day.

No depth announcement at registration.
Depth announcement is done the day before each competition day.
