Safety Qualifications:
All safety divers have a minimum level one certification. NSRI will assist with additional safety divers who will complete a safety workshop prior to the event.
We have a Netcare paramedic on site for the event with O2 cylinders and DAN South Africa will be informed of the event to be on standby for any emergency.

Safety plan:
Safety divers will be provided by a team from NSRI (National Sea Rescue Institute), who are all qualified maritime emergency responders.
In addition to this a safety workshop will be held, prior to the event for the safety team and medics with role played scenarios of simulated rescues.
We will have Necare 911 paramedics on site with O2 cylinders and full first aid / emergency supplies.
St Augustines Hyperbaric centre is 6.5km away, situated at Life Entabeni Hospital.
