Safety Qualifications:
For static part, there will be one safety freediver per competition zone; and 2 safety freedivers will be in the warm-up zone;
For dynamic part of competitions, as the pool is 25 meters there will be 2 safety freediver per competition zone in rotation.;
and 2 safety freedivers will be in the warm-up zone;
All safety freediver are trained specifically for their role (AIDA 4/AIDA Instructors) or have current CPR, First Aid and BSAC Oxygen Administration.
Safety plan:
EMS staff will be located next to the pool with following equipment: - Pulse oximeter, - Stethoscope, - Pocket mask, required for training and available in the competition zones. - Emergency O2, - Masks for O2, - Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
