Additional info: AIDA Dynamic Challenge FCG is a pool competition organized in the beautiful open-door pool in Kalamata, Greece. The event will be a single day competition with all three dynamic disciplines (DYN, DNF, DYNB). You can compete in all the disciplines. The depth of the 50m pool is 2m and with a temperature around 26°C.

Safety Qualifications: Event Safety Responsible is Mr. Stavros Kastrinakis, who is an AIDA Instructor Trainer. Mr. Kastrinakis has the following certifications for freediving safety: Certified Professional Lifeguard (Ministry of Merchant Marine) and trainer of the Lifeguard Hellenic Lifeguard Academy, DAN International Certified First Aid Assistant, DAN International Certified Oxygen Supplier, Instructor Trainer of Free Diving AIDA International , Certified CMAS Free Diving Trainer. Mr. Kastrinakis has organized more than 30 national and international free diving competitions around the World and was responsible for organizing the 2011, 2013 and 2016 AIDA World Freediving Championships and the AIDA International World Championship Safety Teams in 2008 (September 2008 Sharm El Sheik Egypt) and in 2009 (August 2009 Aarhus, Denmark).
Safety plan: Medical coverage The medical coverage of the event will be in cooperation with the Kalamata General Hospital and EKAB (Hellenic Centre for Emergency Assistance) which will provide ambulance and medical staff for immediate patient transfer to the hospital in case of a problem. The Hellenic Rescue Team marine EMTs specialists will be on location at the competition site to provide initial medical support in case of emergency. The event boats will be staffed rescuers / lifeguards with knowledge of diving medicine and extensive experience in free diving.
