It has been 3 years since the Constant Weight World Record has not been broken, now during Big Blue Events in La Paz, Mexico the World Campion Alexey Molchanov will attempt to go officially deeper than 128 meters braking his own World Record.
Alexey Molchanov will also attempt to break the Free Immersion World Record which was recently broken by the Kiwi freediver William Trubridge. In this challenging discipline Alexey Molchanov will attempt to go deeper than 124 meters.
Espiritu Santo Island, where the World Records Attempts will take place is a Protected Natural Area located in La Paz Bay inside the Gulf of California, also known as the Sea of Cortez. Jacques Cousteau called the Gulf of California “The Aquarium of the World” because of it’s high biodiversity. The Gulf of California has the 6th greatest number of endemic species in the world (you cannot find them anywhere else); it has 33% of the cetaceans of the world (dolphins and whales); some of the inhabitants of these waters include Sea Lions, Whale Sharks and hundreds of other species of sharks, sea turtles, mantas, corals, colorful and large fish.

An Speed boat will be always at the record zone.
The hospital will be aware and notified about the event taking place.
In case of emergency the safety divers will assist the diver underwater and follow the surface procedures.
The medicine doctor and first respondent will take place in case is necessary.
Speed boat ready for evacuation to La Paz City, ambulance available.
