Safety Qualifications:
SAFETY SPECS
• Competition boat equipped with Counter ballast system
• 3 Experienced, trained safety divers per competition line with 1 scooter.
• Scuba diver with rebreather system at depth to supervise the athletes
• Specialized Rescue boat with first aid crew and Doctor provided by Komanetsi Rescue Team (EMT) http://www.komanetsi.com/volunteer-rescue-team/
• 1 Fast evacuation boat capable of making the beach in 5 minutes.
• 1 Fully equipped ambulance on standby on the beach with 10 minute drive to advanced medical center
• 1 High resolution sonar per competition line
Safety plan:
In emergency the diver will be carried to the Rescue Boat where the doctor and the first aid crew will provide first aid. If the diver needs to be taken to hospital, a second evacuation boat will take the diver to the beach. The competition site will be 2km distance from the beach where there will be a 1 fully equipped ambulance on standby with 10 minute drive to advanced medical center.

will be fully prepared and notified of the competition and location and they will be on standby in case of an emergency.
